Junction 28 / A38

Introduction - The main intersection of the A38 which goes into Alfreton is the Watchorn Roundabout. The roundabout links Alfreton to Mansfield, Derby, Swanwick/Ripley and Matlock, Alfreton and Chesterfield. Situated off teh roundabout is Alfreton Travellodge, Alfreton Fire Station, a Petrol Station and services too.

Junction 28 of the M1 Motorway connects Alfreton to the rest of the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. Junction 28 has several local facilities and amenities including the Derbyshire Hotel and McArthur Glen Retail park.
