Introduction Amber Valley Ramblers are a group of the Ramblers’ Association. People from a variety of backgrounds and age groups, who share a common love of the countryside are invited to join this group. The group is run by committee and have an annual AGM. More information regarding their programme of walks can be found on their website.



History Amber Valley Ramblers was formed in April 1976, in Derbyshire, and boasts over 200 members.

Groups and Organisations of note - The Ramblers’ Association started circa 1935. Since then, they have been instrumental in opening up footpaths for the benefit of other walkers, and ensuring footpath closures are monitored.
